Play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, resolving claims, and supporting operational excellence within a fast-paced distribution centre. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement. The shift is Monday - Friday 9am-5pm Here’s where you’ll have an impact: Populate the different KPI’s of the department Analyze merchant credit requests in monetary terms, quantity and frequency Perform daily floor tours to note anomalies and resolve them Relating to claims and vendor refunds Monitor recurring issues, including non-compliant, expired products or products that could contain mixtures, and addressing aged claims and inquiries Follow up on customers and vendor claim resulting from the quality of order assembly Various manipulations on WMS, including credit approval and data entry Initiate research, surveys and analyzes according to the various issues and ensure accurate accounting of inventory adjustments, including lost pallets Communicate with merchants, various carriers and other distribution centers in the province for any issues raised Decision making regarding the approval of customer and vendor claim requests and communicating the results to them Work closely and communicate with various internal business partners, including customer service, transportation, operations, purchasing, finance and inventory management Plan, carry out and coordinate all necessary operations surrounding supplier returns or re-ships Make agreements with suppliers and business partners for various repairs, types of merchandise disposal, etc. Suggest and participate in the continuous improvement of processes within operations Extract data from systems at the request of managers. Optimize productivity, exercise an active presence in the warehouse and stimulate involvement unionized employees from different departments (reception, assembly, loading) Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and intervene in the event of a food safety issue Participate in Audits when necessary Place great importance on communication as well as customer satisfaction (internal and external) Ensure the accuracy of data in the systems (balancing purchase orders, triggers, configure products, etc.). What you bring to the table: College diploma or 4+ years of experience in Inventory Control You have strong skills for teamwork and encourage mutual assistance and consultation with the people around you You lead groups in a mobilizing manner, have the ability to influence positively and adapt quickly to changes You are dynamic and have a high learning pace You have a keen sense of responsibility and demonstrate rigor You manage your time and priorities effectively and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
