Description Of Position Reporting to: Mental Health and Social Services Team Leader General Responsibilities Work with youth in the community by providing short term goal focused support. Provide Youth Events to the community. Community networking with other youth serving organizations. Program-specific Responsibilities Provide support to youth around life skills, relationships, emotional regulation and socialization through individual sessions. Provide services both in office and through outreach. Organize and facilitate group youth events that provide youth in the program opportunity to work on developing skills. Collaborate with other youth serving organizations to coordinate services to youth in the community. Physical Demands Of Job Lifting/Pulling/Pushing - 25%, Walking/Moving Around - 50%, Sitting - 50%, Time spent outside - 50% Cognitive Demands Of Job Independent Work - 75%, Task Memorization - 25%, Changing Priorities/Deadlines - 50%, Writing/Reading - 75% Qualifications Mandatory: Social Services Diploma. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree (Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Criminology, Psychology) Mandatory: 1 year experience in the Social Services Field. Preferred: Two years’ experience providing support and outreach services to youth in the community. Mandatory: Clear Criminal Records Check Mandatory: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle. Requirements

A Social Services Diploma is mandatory, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in the social services field and a clear criminal records check.
