Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) Our clients are seeking healthcare professionals in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) areas with a passion for providing holistic care, and promoting independence to clients of all ages, conditions, in a variety of settings. Our clients are seeking care from professionals with a wide range of expertise. They rely on compassionate and dependable individuals to assist them with: Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) Ensuring client safety while participating in community and home based activities Personal care including toileting and personal hygiene Client transfers Other care tasks include: organization, meal preparation, transportation, emotional support, light housekeeping, and other daily tasks You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who is reliable, organized, and can work independently. Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique. Some clients need mainly in-home support. Others require support participating in community activities. Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their wellbeing. Requirements: Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Registered as a CCA with the Nova Scotia CCA registry Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months Smartphone with a data plan Assets: Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver's License with access to a reliable Hours: Flexible and client dependent scheduling options are available. Caregiver has full autonomy in organizing and managing their schedule and availability based on client matches. Rate of Pay: $23-$28/hour Why Join Spark Lifecare? Requirements

Candidates must be registered as a CCA with the Nova Scotia CCA registry and hold valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification. A Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last six months and a smartphone with a data plan are also required.
