Job details

Job title: Project/Program Manager II Job location: 100% remote role Duration: until 01/29/2027 (with possible extension) Primary Skills: Project Management & Application Security Job Description Client Trust is seeking a Project Manager / Analyst to support Trust activities across mergers and acquisitions. This role combines project management with practical cybersecurity and risk experience to help acquired products and teams successfully integrate with client Trust programs and requirements. You will coordinate Trust integration activities across acquisitions, working with acquired teams and client’s stakeholders across Security, Privacy, Risk, Engineering, and Product. You will manage plans, risks, dependencies, decisions, and remediation activities while helping teams understand and address security and Trust requirements. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager who also has enough cybersecurity knowledge to participate in security and risk discussions, analyze findings, ask the right questions, and help drive issues toward decisions and resolution. This is not a Security Engineer role, but the candidate should be comfortable working directly with security and engineering teams and understanding technical security concepts. Responsibilities Manage Trust integration activities across multiple acquisitions, including plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions. Coordinate activities across Trust, Security, Privacy, Risk, Engineering, Product, and acquired-company teams. Support security and Trust assessments by gathering information, documenting findings, identifying gaps, and coordinating follow-up actions. Help translate security findings and requirements into clear priorities, remediation plans, owners, and timelines. Track security risks, vulnerabilities, remediation commitments, and other Trust integration activities through completion. Facilitate working sessions, status meetings, and decision-making discussions across technical and business stakeholders. Identify blockers and risks and drive them toward resolution or appropriate escalation. Maintain clear documentation and provide concise status reporting to stakeholders and leadership. Help acquired teams understand and navigate client’s Trust and security requirements. Identify opportunities to improve Trust M&A processes, documentation, and operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of experience in project/program management, cybersecurity, technology risk, or a combination of these areas. Experience managing cross-functional technical projects involving engineering, security, or technology teams. Working knowledge of cybersecurity and technology risk concepts, such as vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, and security risk assessment. Ability to understand technical security findings and translate them into actionable project activities, risks, and decisions. Experience managing project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and drive progress across teams without direct authority. Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in an environment with changing priorities and some ambiguity. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, technology integrations, or similar cross-functional initiatives. Experience supporting cybersecurity assessments, risk assessments, vulnerability management, or security remediation activities. Familiarity with application security, cloud/SaaS security, SecOps, or DevSecOps concepts. Experience working with SaaS or cloud-based products and engineering teams. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Airtable, or similar project management tools. Security, risk, or project management certifications are a plus. Ideal Candidate You are a hands-on project manager who is comfortable working in a technical security environment. You do not need to be a security engineer, but you can understand security findings, ask thoughtful questions, work effectively with security specialists and engineers, and help turn technical issues into clear decisions and actions. You are organized, analytical, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to keep multiple workstreams moving. You take ownership of outcomes and help teams move from assessment to decision to action rather than simply tracking tasks.
