Job Description The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a clinic setting. Clinical skills and knowledge of wound management, infusion therapy, palliative care, and chronic disease management are required. Provide patient-focused, safe, holistic nursing care in a clinical setting Ensure that nursing care provided to the patient is based on current and best practices to achieve successful outcomes Continually assess, anticipate, identify and respond to new and changing needs of patients Qualifications Minimum 2 years of community nursing experience Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Ability to work independently in managing a caseload Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required (Additional language skills considered an asset) Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care is an asset Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and ability to learn proprietary software Part time hours available; 12 hour shifts Additional Information This position is a current vacancy Spectrum Health Care is thrilled to be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
