Being an Event Sales Manager at Splitsville, you will... Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships on behalf of Splitsville Entertainment with both new and existing guests Effectively sell the meeting spaces, party rooms, food and beverage packages, entertainment packages; meet quarterly and yearly sales goals Prospect new events and target new leads where possible; reach out to past clients for future booking Arrange and confirm all event details with client prior to the event; communicate information to all team members Work with event team to ensure all events run smoothly; connect with client during event to offer help if needed Follow up after each event with client to obtain feedback, maintain rapport and suggest future bookings with Splitsville Meet with key internal stakeholders weekly to discuss weekly plan and targets Maintain daily use of our inhouse database to input all leads, track and follow up on all inquiries and communications with clients; track all marketing and promotional materials where necessary Update and maintain content on our social media sites regularly within corporate standards and guidelines Attend and facilitate offsite promotional events within the community to raise brand awareness and obtain leads for future event bookings Provide an excellent experience for all clients and their guests - Create an atmosphere of positivity and fun! To Be Successful You Will Have Previous experience in a sales customer service role is an asset Have a desire to create fun events and take pride in their work; passionate about great guest experiences Confident and engaging Motivated by targets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organization, prioritizing and multi-tasking Creative problem-solving Social media skills Comfortable working with booking quotas and is usually able to achieve or exceed them Knowledgeable with MS Office, windows, and web-based applications Has been or is currently involved in community affairs, charities, clubs, etc Has a valid drivers license or access to reliable transportation Must be available to work evening, weekend and holiday events as needed The Who... Requirements
