Qualifications Graduate or enrolled in a Dietitians of Canada recognized two year Community College Program in Food & Nutrition Management or a four year Nutrition Undergraduate Degree. Previous experience as a Dietetic Technician preferred. Computer experience required ¿ Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, familiarity with diet office software preferred. Working knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Ability to effectively advise and counsel patients with a strong commitment to customer service. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills ? both oral and written. Proven ability to work with minimum supervision. Good organizational and time management skills. Must have excellent attention to detail. Requirements

Applicants must be graduates of or enrolled in a Dietitians of Canada-recognized two-year college program in Food and Nutrition Management, or hold a four-year undergraduate degree in Nutrition. Previous Dietetic Technician experience and familiarity with diet office software are preferred; computer skills, WHMIS and occupational health and safety knowledge, strong communication and organizational skills, and satisfactory attendance are also expected.
