As an Electrical Engineering Intern (EIT) - Industrial Electrical, you will play a key role within our multidisciplinary team. You will participate in the design and execution of studies and projects for a wide range of industrial and institutional initiatives across Québec and elsewhere in Canada, with opportunities to contribute to international projects as well. You will collaborate with both local clients and world-renowned organizations. Your Day-to-Day As an Electrical Engineering Intern (EIT), you will participate in the design of electrical systems for a variety of industrial and institutional projects. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team recognized for its expertise and contribute to exciting, large-scale projects. More specifically, you will: Perform modeling, calculations, and required technical analyses; Design grounding and lightning protection systems; Design process control and automation systems; Design industrial networking and communication systems; Design low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution networks; Design building electrical systems (lighting, fire alarm systems, communication systems, etc.); Prepare specifications, reports, and other technical documents; Conduct site surveys and evaluate existing installations; Participate in project planning, coordination, and follow-up activities; Collaborate closely with design teams and various stakeholders to ensure project success. Your Background Your application will stand out if you possess the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Experience in building electrical systems or industrial electrical engineering (an asset); Strong motivation to learn and develop your professional skills; A keen interest in the industrial sector; Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligibility to become a member; Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written (an asset).
