Stantec is looking for a detail oriented and proactive individual to join our Accounts Payable (AP) team for a temporary summer student opportunity. Working in collaboration with our entire accounting team, the individual will be responsible for accounts payable transactions and supporting the implementation and documentation of all financial regulatory requirements. Your Key Responsibilities * Processing high volume of accounts payable invoices in an electronic environment * Participate in the online audit of expense reports * Provide timely customer support and assistance through communication with Stantec offices * Work in an open team environment to ensure that the goals of the Accounts Payable team are met * Undertake special projects or assignments * Communicate with vendors as required * Assist in providing audit documentation requests Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week. Requirements

Candidates should be working toward a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are required, while previous accounts payable or Oracle experience is considered an asset.
