Some important details: Warehouse Address: 9 Tantramar Crescent, Amherst, NS B4H 4J3 Shift Time: Monday-Friday, 08:30am to 5:00pm Wage: $16.45 - $18.45 Some of what you will do: Perform system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound operations. Identify and resolve issues in various functional areas; breakpack, breakdown, put away, replenishment, QC, staging, loading, shipping. Support efficient warehouse processing and maximize warehouse space usage. Perform work under the direction of warehouse lead, supervisor or manager. Specifically, you will: * Receive vendor purchase orders and customer returns. * Process outbound orders in a timely manner to ensure truck departure timelines are met. * Pick/Stock products with accuracy. * Wrap, sort and load orders. * Maintain basic housekeeping in assigned areas of warehouse. * Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties. Some of what you need: * Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required. * Ability to become certified in, and operate warehouse equipment. * Proficient in problem solving, communication, following directions, time management. * Must be a team player. * G License preferred for loader position. Additional Requirements Information: This position requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform the essential duties of this role: * The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand. * The employee may operate warehouse equipment.
