Here’s what you’ll be doing as a Restaurant Supervisor: As a lead you will assist in the daily operations of the restaurant, leading the team during peak hours, completing inventory, ordering/receiving, and more! You will be focused on guest satisfaction and maintaining smooth flow of operations. The ideal candidate is a hardworking, dependable individual with strong leadership skills, who thrives in the fast pace of the restaurant industry. Duties and Responsibilities * Assist in FOH daily operations * Process daily cash * Daily orderering and weekly inventory * Ensure labour targets are met * Provide an excellent guest experience and ensure guest concerns and complaints are addressed promptly and respectfully Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of menu items, including allergy restrictions, and ensure staff are following the allergy protocol procedure * Assist in the training of FOH staff in all positions * Oversee weekly and daily cleaning checklists * Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed * Ensure clear communication to employees on company communications and food and beverage spec. changes * Provide feedback to the Restaurant Manager on employee performance * Ensure confidentiality and protection of all employee information * Provide a work environment that is safe and free of harassment * Communicate all issues outside of their scope of responsibility to the Restaurant Manager * Other duties as assigned Requirements * Valid SmartChoices, Food Handler and WHMIS certification * Full-time open availability * FOH experience in a fast-paced restaurant * Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written * Outstanding organization, coordination, and multi-tasking abilities * Ability to be proactive in challenging situations * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Great people skills, having a friendly and outgoing demeanor * Positive attitude and team mindset Incentives: * Life, Health and Dental Benefits plans * Employee discount * Career development and advancement Job types: full time, permanent Hourly wage: $23.70 - $24.70
