Stenberg College seeks an organized, passionate, and relationship-driven Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (RDPN) Clinical Instructional Faculty in North Island, British Columbia. About the Program: For the past 19 years, Stenberg College has been an industry leader in providing psychiatric nursing education in British Columbia. The RDPN program is the only psychiatric nursing program in B.C. that is offered province-wide to 7 regions through a hybrid, blended delivery, 8-semester, 147-credit program. Students engage in synchronous and asynchronous learning through online theory courses, complete in-person lab simulation at one of our five regional lab spaces, and in-person clinical practice experiences that expose students to a variety of health status, across the life span, and with varying complexity. * Location: North Island, British Columbia * Employment Type: Contract-to-Contract/Part-time, In-Person * Schedule: 1–2 shifts per week (8–12 hours each) * Start Date: The next contract begins November 30, 2026. The successful candidate is expected to complete hiring, onboarding, training, and orientation approximately one month prior to the contract start date. * Compensation: Starting at $62.50/hour, plus paid orientation and administrative time What You Will Do: As a clinical instructor, you would be providing regulatory supervision of students while they complete their clinical practice experience. You would provide support and mentorship to students while they provide care to their assigned patients. Who You Are: The candidates will require the following: * Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with active practicing registration (in good standing) with the BCCNM * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse * Experience in both acute and community care settings is considered an asset * Baccalaureate degree in Nursing/ Psychiatric Nursing required; Master’s degree (completed or in progress) preferred * Previous clinical instructor experience is preferred, but not required * Strong understanding of software applications and communication tools, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams * Excellent interpersonal, mentorship, and communication skills with a passion for student learning and development Our Core Values We are guided by values that shape everything we do: * Connectedness and Inclusivity * Collaboration and Innovation * Accountability and Integrity * Adaptability and Responsiveness * Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Stenberg College is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment where all individuals can thrive. Requirements
