Position Overview We are seeking a proactive, relationship-focused Resident Experience Manager to lead the resident experience at our residential properties. This role is focused on creating a positive resident journey from move-in through renewal and move-out. As the primary point of contact for residents, the Resident Experience Manager builds strong relationships, resolves concerns, supports retention, and creates a welcoming and engaging community. Administrative, compliance, and vendor-related activities are supported by centralized teams, allowing this role to remain focused on residents and their experience. Applicants should be flexible and available to work some evenings and weekends as required. Key Responsibilities Resident Experience & Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for residents throughout their tenancy. Build positive resident relationships and provide responsive, professional service. Address resident concerns and complaints promptly, escalating complex matters as required. Lead the resident move-in and move-out experience to ensure a welcoming and consistent standard. Retention & Community Engagement Lead renewal conversations and support site-level resident retention strategies. Proactively identify resident concerns or opportunities that may impact satisfaction and retention. Plan and host resident events, activities, and community engagement initiatives. Gather resident feedback and identify opportunities to continuously improve the resident experience. Property Presentation Conduct regular walkthroughs of common areas, amenities, grounds, and other resident-facing spaces. Maintain strong site presentation standards and identify maintenance or presentation concerns for follow-up. Support suite readiness to ensure a positive first impression for incoming residents. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with the Regional Portfolio Manager on occupancy, retention, resident satisfaction, and site performance. Refer administrative, compliance, payment, and system-related matters to the Regional Administration Team. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in residential property management, hospitality, customer service, or a related resident-facing role. Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable planning and facilitating resident events and community initiatives. Experience with leasing, renewals, or resident retention is an asset. Familiarity with Yardi Voyager or a comparable property management platform is an asset. Previous hospitality or guest-services experience is an asset. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
