The Role We are currently seeking a General Labourer for our client in Etobicoke,ON for a temporary 3 month assignment with the possibility of extension. This position is ideal for someone with experience in sanitation, facility maintenance, general labour, or building upkeep. The successful candidate will support a variety of sanitation and maintenance-related tasks throughout the facility while helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who is comfortable performing physical work, assisting with facility improvements, moving materials, posting signage, and supporting general housekeeping initiatives as directed in Etobicoke,ON. Clean and professional work environment Opportunity to gain experience with a reputable organization Supportive team environment Responsibilities Perform sanitation and housekeeping duties throughout the facility Maintain clean and organized work areas, hallways, common areas, and production support areas Move boxes, supplies, and materials as required Assist with facility organization and general maintenance projects Apply posters, signage, labels, and visual management materials throughout the facility Draw and maintain floor markings, safety lines, and designated work area indicators Support continuous improvement and workplace organization initiatives Assist with waste removal and disposal activities Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance issues Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned by management Requirements Previous sanitation, janitorial, maintenance, facilities, warehouse, or general labour experience preferred Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials as required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable attendance and punctuality Comfortable using basic hand tools and maintenance equipment Strong commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed Must have CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear Reach truck/ Dockstocker experience would be an asset, but it is not mandatory. #INDSTRIVEON
