OVERVIEW Reporting to the Plant 1 Manager, the Yard Operator is responsible for the loading and unloading of finished products. Occasional Saturdays are required. THE DAY TO DAY * Work in an organized and safe manner according to the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and company policies * Operate specialized equipment including, forklift, shunt truck and overhead gantry crane * Load and unload precast concrete, using appropriate stacking methods * Follow loading instructions according to provided paperwork * Use hoisting and rigging equipment according to the OHSA and company procedures * Responsible for the placement and security of products to ensure safe transportation * Other duties as requested by management WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Must be able to work in a self-managed team. * Reliable and highly motivated * Safety conscious * Ability to work as a team member * Must have good organizational skills * Attention to detail and accurate * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Stubbe's is committed to providing accommodations to those individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
