*Sturrock construction* is a locally operated business that is currently hiring for an *Excavator Operator*. This position includes the local operation of 15, 20 & 35 Ton Excavator. *Benefits: * * Provided with company attire * Provided with company vehicle * Local job sites allowing to be home every evening * Great team and rewarding work environment *Daily Job duties and responsibilities: * * Perform daily routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the equipment is in proper working condition and report any findings to management if needed * Daily local operation of 15, 20 & 35 Ton Excavator *Job Requirements:* * Minimum 5 years of experience in: Earthworks, Road Building, Fence Row Removal & Foundation Excavation * Safely operate company equipment * Must be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate timelines * Work well under minimal supervision * Must be reliable and punctual for work * Must be available full time Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays (will be given notice in advance) * Must have reliable mode of transportation and valid Ontario Driver's License Hourly wage will be based on individual and experience.
