Subzi Mandi Cash & Carry is hiring one experienced Indian Cook for our in-store kitchen at 9825 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton, ON L6X 0V1. Responsibilities: * Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, vegetarian dishes, appetizers and tandoori items * Follow standardized recipes and maintain consistent food quality * Prepare ingredients and manage daily kitchen production * Maintain a clean, safe and organized kitchen * Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace procedures * Monitor inventory and reduce food waste * Work efficiently during busy periods and assist with catering orders when required Requirements: * Previous experience cooking Indian cuisine in a restaurant, commercial kitchen or grocery food-service environment * Knowledge of Indian spices, cooking methods and food preparation * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment * Food Handler Certificate is an asset * Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Job type: Full-time Schedule: Must be available for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required Work location: In person Start date: As soon as possible Subzi Mandi is an equal opportunity employer.
