Job Description We are looking for a positive, motivated dental assistant to join our busy practice. Duties include: * Preparing patients for dental work * Preparing rooms for dental procedures * Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures * Recording treatment information * Keeping patient records in order * Taking and exposing x-rays for dental diagnostics * Giving patients information on oral hygiene * Providing post-operative and post-treatment instructions to patients * Dental Assistant requirements * Act in accordance with laws and regulations * Working with dental software (Dentrix knowledge an asset) * Help the dental assistant throughout the day Job requirements: * Certification in an accredited dental assistance program * High school diploma or equivalent * Team player * Able to work in fast paced environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care Language: * English (required) * French (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Dental Assitant certification (required) Location: * Greater Sudbury, ON (required) Work Location: In person
