BAKERY PRODUCTION WORKER 446 Summerhill Avenue | Production Bakery Summerhill Market Summerhill Market is looking for a reliable and hardworking Bakery Production Worker to join our Bakery Production team. This is a hands-on role supporting the daily preparation, production, packaging, and organization of our bakery products. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced food production environment, takes pride in quality and consistency, and works well as part of a team. RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist with the daily preparation and production of bakery products * Portion, assemble, package, label, and prepare products for distribution to our store locations * Follow recipes, production sheets, portioning guidelines, and quality standards * Prepare ingredients and complete basic food-preparation tasks as required * Operate bakery and production equipment safely and according to training * Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift * Follow food safety, sanitation, allergen, and workplace health and safety procedures * Properly store, rotate, date, and label ingredients and finished products * Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing ingredients and supplies * Monitor product quality and report any concerns to the Bakery leadership team * Complete production requirements accurately and efficiently * Support cleaning and sanitation of equipment, tools, work surfaces, and production areas * Work collaboratively with Bakery team members to meet daily production requirements * Perform other bakery and production duties as assigned WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Previous bakery, kitchen, food production, manufacturing, or food-service experience is an asset * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality * Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team * Ability to follow recipes, instructions, food-safety procedures, and production standards * Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production tasks * Ability to lift and move ingredients, supplies, and finished products as required * Flexibility to work early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays depending on production needs WHY JOIN SUMMERHILL MARKET?
