About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is centered around building and evolving Seeq's comprehensive data analytics platform from end to end. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background across both frontend and backend systems, with the ability to own features from the browser to the database within a complex enterprise environment. You will work on a product that serves critical industrial sectors, ensuring the delivery of reliable, polished, and user-centric software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining features that enhance the platform's capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring fellow engineers. Qualifications Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of delivering complex features. Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling such as Tailwind CSS. Solid backend experience with JVM languages like Kotlin, Python, or GraphQL. Hands-on experience working with databases, distributed systems, and cloud platforms. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and data layers. Experience with testing, continuous integration, and clean coding practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide other engineers. Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies to enhance software development. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of features across the entire tech stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services and data layers. Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. Own features end-to-end, ensuring high quality, reliability, and user satisfaction. Build intuitive, responsive, and polished user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data management systems using JVM languages, Python, or GraphQL. Work with databases and distributed systems to optimize performance and scalability. Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance. Introduce and advocate for new technologies and best practices to improve team efficiency and product quality. Stay informed on how AI and emerging technologies can be leveraged to accelerate development and improve outcomes. Address bugs promptly, reduce technical debt, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Benefits Competitive salary range of $230,000 - $280,000 CAD, complemented by cash bonuses.
