Job summary
Propane Cylinder Driver Reporting directly to Market Manager and collaborating regularly with the Delivery Coordinator, our Cylinder Drivers are responsible for the safe and timely delivery of product to our customers. As a Cylinder Driver you will deliver, load and unload propane into the bulk truck and end use containers. In addition to the technical responsibilities of this role, you will deliver consistent and positive experiences to keep our customers loyal. As a Cylinder Driver you will also be accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance. Safety Focused: We care about you and have committed to a zero-harm workplace. What you'll do: Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane product to and from containers for customers. Conduct and maintain the highest standard of safety in all activities and operations Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards Prepare and submit necessary paperwork Provide exceptional customer service Frequently communicate with key stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and positive customer relations Experience with transporting dangerous goods is preferred Willing to work flexible shifts if needed What you bring: High School education. Minimum of two (2) year professional driving experience. Fluid hauling experience Industry knowledge Appropriate provincial class DZ, drivers license with an air brake ticket (Z). Incident free drivers abstract. Ability to continually lift between 40-60 pounds Physically fit, multiple stops in a day, getting in and out of truck and pulling delivery hose A commitment to customer service Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically on-board truck computers. Hourly Wage: $23 - $29/hr (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography). Requirements
