Responsibilities Tasks Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems Interpret electrical code specifications Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures Complete reports to record problems and work performed Additional information Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Paramedical services coverage Vision care benefits

Requires a trade certificate or diploma and between 2 to 3 years of experience. A valid driver's license is also required for transportation.
