Expected initial term of seven months, with possible extensions. Hybrid work in Metro Vancouver, with regular office and project-site attendance. What & Why: Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate the technology work needed to prepare a new office facility for occupancy. You will bring together infrastructure, workplace technology, facilities, vendors and operational teams to ensure that technology services are ready, validated and supported when the facility opens. Your work will continue through move planning, cutover, post-occupancy stabilization and handover to support teams. The technology scope includes networking, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, printing, end-user computing and the processes needed to support these services. You: You have managed projects where technology delivery depended on facilities schedules, vendor commitments and a defined operational deadline. You can establish practical controls, maintain an integrated schedule, identify risks early and turn readiness discussions into clear evidence, decisions and actions. You communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and leadership, and bring a respectful, culturally safe approach to collaboration. Project management experience involving complex IT infrastructure, workplace technology, facilities-enabled technology or operational readiness. Integrated scheduling and coordination across multiple technology workstreams. Project governance, reporting, risk management and escalation. Coordination of facilities, vendors, business stakeholders and technology dependencies. Operational readiness assessments and acceptance planning. Vendor and procurement management, budget tracking, invoice validation and change control. Move planning, cutover, stabilization and transition to operational support. Clear written communication, facilitation and stakeholder management. Availability for the full-time hybrid assignment and regular project-site attendance. Responsibilities: Assess the current status of technology workstreams, plans, risks and dependencies. Develop and maintain an integrated schedule aligned with facility and occupancy milestones. Coordinate technology teams, facilities, workplace services and vendors. Maintain risk, issue, action, decision, dependency and change records. Facilitate working sessions, project meetings and readiness reviews. Prepare weekly status reports, executive dashboards and decision recommendations. Define readiness criteria, ownership, evidence requirements and acceptance checkpoints. Coordinate vendor deliverables and procurement dependencies. Develop technology move, cutover, contingency and transition plans. Support readiness rehearsals and go/no-go recommendations. Coordinate day-one support, hypercare, stabilization and operational handover. Support stakeholder communications, adoption and training coordination. Compensation: $80-$100 per hour.
