6-month contract Product Manager role working with an enterprise observability technology team 6-month contract Product Manager role Working with a global enterprise observability team Retail client located in downtown Vancouver, primarily on site work What & Why: Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support our clients Enterprise Observability team and own a side-project chargeback application for AI token consumption. In this role, you'll own the product vision and roadmap for Datadog, Splunk, and Edge Delta observability platforms, while also driving governance and cost-management capability for their growing AI Powered Engineering practice. You'll work across application teams, architecture, security, and leadership stakeholders to improve policy consistency, license management, usage compliance, and audit readiness, translating technical and platform concerns into language suited to executive, compliance, and risk audiences. This role is well suited to someone with strong enterprise governance instincts, experience influencing outcomes without direct authority, and the ability to turn ambiguity into clear policies and workflows. Experience with observability platforms or AI-enabled engineering tooling is a plus Who: This client is one of the most recognizable Canadian brands, a true Vancouver success story who has expanded globally. They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment with 3-4 days a week in office. You: You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role: 2+ years Product Manager experience ideally within retail or a related technical environment Strong business-facing communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present to stakeholders, run alignment sessions, and simplify technical or data concepts for non-technical audiences Working knowledge of how data flows between connected systems and tools (e.g., VibeIQ, Illustrator, Anaplan), without requiring a highly technical background Background in merchandising, design, or regional merchandising (a strong asset for both roles, with regional merch experience especially valuable for the assortment modernization role, and digital product creation experience a nice-to-have for the global merch/design role) Compensation: This role pays between $65-75 per hour.
