Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Databricks and the Payments domain to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines for payment processing and analytics. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern Azure data services, ETL/ELT development, and large-scale data engineering in financial services. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks. Build ETL/ELT workflows for payment transaction processing and reporting. Develop data solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and Databricks. Integrate data from payment platforms, banking systems, APIs, and enterprise applications. Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to deliver payment analytics solutions. Implement data quality, governance, security, and monitoring best practices. Support real-time and batch processing for payment datasets. Required Skills: 8+ years of Data Engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks. Expertise in PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS). Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF). Strong SQL and data modeling skills. Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (preferred). Knowledge of CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
