We are seeking a full-time Cladding Estimator to join a growing commercial roofing, cladding, and building envelope team in Edmonton. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, coordinating bids, reviewing project documentation, and supporting successful project delivery from tender through award. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate and timely bid proposals. Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Conduct quantity take-offs and develop detailed cost estimates. Analyze project requirements and identify scope risks and opportunities. Participate in site visits to gain familiarity with project conditions. Lead bid preparation and coordination activities. Review contract documents and provide recommendations to management. Utilize estimating and take-off software; experience with PlanSwift is considered an asset. Research material pricing, market trends, and alternative construction methods. Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs. Present estimates and reports to management and project stakeholders. Collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors. Assist in subcontractor selection and procurement activities. Participate in post-project reviews to improve estimating accuracy. Contribute to the development of standardized estimating procedures and tools. Mentor junior estimators and support team development. Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Building Envelope or Cladding estimating experience. Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and materials. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with digital take-off and estimating software. Valid driver's license. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Building Envelope or Cladding estimating and a strong understanding of commercial construction practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with digital take-off and estimating software are also required.
