Environmental Project Lead - Asbestos & Environmental Abatement Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Lead to quote, estimate, coordinate, and oversee asbestos and environmental abatement projects, including mould remediation, asbestos abatement, odour control, and related restoration work. The successful candidate will lead field crews, prepare estimates, coordinate schedules, communicate with clients and contractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and supervise asbestos abatement projects from start to finish. Conduct inspections and develop appropriate abatement strategies. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Train and supervise crew members on safe handling and disposal procedures. Perform work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces and attics. Perform Level 1, 2, and 3 mould remediation. Perform Type 1, 2, and 3 asbestos abatement. Perform trauma and biohazard abatement. Assist with demolition and removal of damaged finishes. Remove asbestos, lead, mould, and other hazardous materials in accordance with applicable guidelines. Construct containment units. Assist with general restoration and construction activities. Maintain project documentation, safety standards, and quality requirements. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications & Skills Mandatory: Licensed Asbestos Worker (MTCU 253-W) or willingness to obtain the certification. Mandatory: Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean driving abstract. Previous experience in restoration and/or environmental abatement. Experience with water extraction, water damage, emergency cleaning, or general restoration is an asset. Mould remediation experience/certification. Ability to work independently and lead field crews. Strong reliability, work ethic, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer and technical skills. Ability to participate in limited after-hours and on-call rotations. Ability to regularly lift heavy materials and equipment, including items over 80 lbs. Positive, professional, and solutions-focused attitude. IICRC certification is preferred. Experience 1+ year of restoration/abatement experience. 2+ years of construction experience. Work Location Oldcastle, Ontario - In-person
