Job summary
Key Responsibilities Handle commercial litigation files from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, legal opinions, and other court materials. Conduct legal research and develop case strategies. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings. Manage client relationships and provide timely legal counsel. Collaborate with internal team members on complex litigation matters. Support business development and contribute to firm growth initiatives. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of commercial litigation experience. Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage files independently while working within a team environment. Strong communication and client relationship management skills. Licensed and in good standing with the relevant Law Society in Canada (or eligible to transfer, if applicable).
