Actively looking Mobile Maintenance Planner Location: Quintette Mine, British Columbia, Canada Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (12-hour shifts) Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for heavy mobile mining equipment. Coordinate maintenance priorities with supervisors, operations, warehouse, and procurement teams. Ensure labor, parts, materials, and resources are available to support planned maintenance activities. Monitor maintenance performance and equipment reliability using maintenance data and key performance indicators. Optimize maintenance schedules to improve equipment availability and reduce downtime. Support maintenance budgeting, planning, and cost control activities. Provide technical support during complex maintenance tasks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance best practices. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of maintenance planning experience in mining or a heavy industrial environment. Extensive hands-on experience with heavy mobile mining equipment, including: Haul Trucks Hydraulic Shovels Excavators Dozers Loaders Drills Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP PM or similar. Knowledge of parts planning, materials management, and procurement is considered an asset. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. What We Offer Permanent full-time opportunity. The Mobile Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance for heavy mobile mining equipment. They will coordinate maintenance priorities and ensure resources are available to support maintenance activities.
Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of maintenance planning experience in mining or heavy industrial environments. Extensive hands-on experience with heavy mobile mining equipment and proficiency in CMMS is required.
