Construction Project Manager - Residential Development About The Role We are seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of residential construction projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage on-site activities, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. Responsibilities Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Review project plans and specifications, providing input on scheduling, cost-saving measures, and potential construction issues. Oversee procurement of labor, materials, and equipment, assisting with budget management and monthly cost forecasting. Monitor project schedules, timelines, and resources on a weekly basis. Schedule inspections, enforce quality control standards, and ensure preparation of "as-built" drawings. Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to architects, engineers, and stakeholders. Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists, ensuring timely resolution. Lead, mentor, and supervise project teams effectively. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years as a Construction Project Manager in residential new development or renovation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry software. Strong technical knowledge of planning, scheduling, layout, quality control, and practical trade methods. Understanding of building codes and safety regulations; carpentry or construction-related certifications are an asset. Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
