Based in Regina, we have over 20 years of experience successfully delivering projects for public and private sector clients throughout the province. We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take on a leadership role within an expanding construction company. The successful candidate will play a key role in project pursuit, estimating, proposal development, and business growth while working directly with ownership on strategic opportunities and major project pursuits. Responsibilities Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, civil, and land development projects. Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and tender documents. Complete detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses. Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing. Develop bid strategies and coordinate tender submissions. Review procurement requirements, tender instructions, and contract documentation. Assist in the preparation of proposals, qualification packages, and supporting bid documentation. Identify project risks, exclusions, and scope gaps during the estimating process. Work closely with project managers during project planning and project handover. Maintain estimating databases, historical pricing records, and bid documentation. Mentor and support junior estimating and project staff as required. Travel within Saskatchewan from time to time to attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, client meetings, and project reviews. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in commercial construction. Experience estimating Commercial building construction and Civil construction projects is considered an asset. Strong understanding of Canadian construction methods, materials, and industry practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Experience preparing proposals and tender submissions. Familiarity with municipal, provincial, federal, and Crown procurement processes is considered a strong asset. Experience with public sector tendering platforms and procurement requirements is an asset. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
