JOB DESCRIPTION Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM (or as designated) Purpose The Transportation Supervisor oversees and coordinates safe, efficient, and timely product delivery through a team of Independent Contract Associates (ICAs). This role drives operational excellence, maintains strict regulatory compliance, and ensures key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved. Responsibilities: Operations & Dispatch: Manage daily route scheduling and dispatch for ICAs, resolve on-route challenges, and partner with Routing to optimize manifest efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Team Leadership & Performance: Monitor ICA performance metrics, lead onboarding and ongoing training, and foster strong, supportive working relationships. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to government and industry regulations (including MOT, OHS, EPA, HACCP, TDG, and WHMIS) and investigate any delivery accidents or damages. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Sales to address customer requirements and special delivery needs, with Warehouse operations on safe loading practices, and champion an inclusive culture centered on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) accountability. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3 years of general work experience, with 3+ years in a transportation, distribution, or supervisory role strongly preferred. Education: High School Diploma required; relevant continuing education or professional training in supply chain and logistics is a strong asset. Preferred Certifications & Skills: Ontario AZ Driver's License, HACCP, MOT, TDG, WHMIS, Health and Safety training, PDIC, and Smith System Defensive Driving.
