Job summary
OVERVIEW Tag is seeking a dynamic Director of Global Production Operations to oversee scaled, technology-driven production across our global network. This leader will serve as the Global Studio Manager for all Adobe-related production, driving efficiency, consistency, and innovation across teams and markets while simultaneously overseeing the strategic leadership of globalization operations across all client campaigns. This role bridges production operations with globalization strategy, ensuring that all production workflows integrate seamlessly with localization and globalization requirements. The ideal candidate will champion quality, efficiency, and innovation while fostering strong client and internal relationships across all regions and projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Global Production Operations Leadership Provide strategic and operational leadership across global production operations, ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery of Adobe-based workflows and assets. Partner closely with agency internal stakeholders who will oversee project management teams, to align production processes, resource allocation, and delivery standards. Lead automation and tool implementation initiatives across Tag's global ecosystem, with a focus on scaled production and workflow optimization. Define and govern how we leverage offshore and nearshore capabilities to support scalable, high-quality delivery. Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to implement new production tools, support Content Delivery Model set-ups, and ensure adoption of best practices. Champion a culture of efficiency, standardization, and innovation, ensuring global alignment while enabling local adaptability. Globalization & Localization Strategy Leadership Act as the overall global lead and point of contact for the Globalization Team within the client account, responsible for functional excellence, quality control, brand stewardship, and client partnerships. Oversee the globalization work for all client campaigns, ensuring that client needs are being met and exceeded through proactive and independent client presentations and attendance at key meetings. Provide strategic leadership for globalization efforts within an executive global counsel, driving best practices and leading change management strategies. Ensure quality control and operational excellence across all Globalization Services for the client. Regularly review Globalization operating procedures and lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve profitability and service delivery within the client account. Assist in setting up new regions or accounts within the client organization, identifying the appropriate workflows, resources, and specific unique globalization service offerings. Financial & Growth Management Own responsibility for profitability and managing the P&L for both Production and Globalization operations within the client structure. Produce and present financial reports to clients on spending and to leadership on performance. Meet growth targets and work with the Head of Globalization to identify new strategic opportunities and technology implementations for the client account. Work with the Head of Globalization to identify new strategic workflows, technology, and implementation of AI for the Globalization and Production teams and the client account. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management Build, lead, and develop high-performing Regional Globalization Directors, Globalization PM's, and Production Operations teams across global regions. Support the Globalization team LPM in handling serious issue escalation and resolution. Work closely with the Head of Globalization, Global Account Team, Account Management Team, and Operations team to ensure seamless integration and alignment. Act as a bridge between production operations, technology, and delivery teams, helping prevent and resolve systemic delivery challenges. Create a communication plan across the client and the Globalization Team to share learnings, best practices, and standards. Promote Globalization Services and Production excellence online and offline. QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of experience in production operations, studio management, globalization, advertising, or digital content delivery at scale. 6+ years of people management experience leading global teams. Proven track record of leading global teams and managing complex global accounts. Deep familiarity with Adobe platforms and tools used in large-scale creative production environments. Excellent understanding of localization technology and how it relates to production systems (TMS, CAT tools, machine translation). Proven success in implementing automation or workflow management systems across distributed teams. Strong strategic and operational leadership skills with a focus on client satisfaction and process optimization. Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across global time zones and business units. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with global clients and internal stakeholders. Experience with P&L management and financial reporting for large-scale service operations. Bilingual preferred. Experience working with offshore delivery centers is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills. Able to motivate, develop and lead a team. Ability to drive new business and develop and strengthen business relationships with global senior stakeholders. Ability to have long-term vision and develop a new business unit from the ground up.
