This is a hybrid role based out of our Surrey, BC head office. As a Compensation Analyst, you will support the analysis and administration of compensation programs across the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen or grow their expertise in compensation within a dynamic, growing organization. This is a 12-month maternity leave cover. Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $59,200 to $74,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity. Why you'll love Westland: An open, flexible and welcoming workplace Plenty of opportunities to grow and learn Autonomy to drive your own success Be part of our inclusive culture, alongside an extraordinarily talented community of people with a wide variety of backgrounds A total rewards program that takes care of your financial, physical, and mental health Flexible paid Values Days to celebrate days important to you Paid Volunteer Days for employees as part of Amplifying Communities, a program to support causes that matter most to our employees and clients Why we’ll love You: 1–3 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related field Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, lookups, data validation, etc.) Experience with compensation survey data (Mercer, Independent Surveys) and HRIS tools (preferably Dayforce) Knowledge of compensation principles and exposure to job architecture or leveling frameworks High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with discretion Curious, proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow in the compensation space Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with others Once here, you'll: Collect and analyze internal and external compensation data to support recommendations and market pricing Participate in market surveys including job matching, data submission, and analysis of competitiveness Audit and maintain job and compensation data in our HRIS Support annual compensation programs (merit, incentives) through data validation, testing tools, and preparing templates Collaborate with HR Business Partners and recruiters to review offers, promotions, and internal moves Maintain compensation policies, processes, and documentation, and respond to compensation-related inquiries Contribute to compensation projects and initiatives that enhance employee experience and business performance Want to get to know each other better?
