Responsibilities Develop and manage ETL/ELT workflows to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration. Design, implement, and optimize data models and structures within data platforms. Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions. Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all data processes. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data pipelines and integration solutions. Support the deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement of data engineering processes and workflows. Requirements and Qualifications Strong SQL skills and solid knowledge of structured and semi-structured data formats. Good understanding of cloud-based data engineering concepts and modern data warehousing practices. Ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and deliver reliable data solutions. Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Talend for ETL/ELT development. Experience with Snowflake, including data loading, performance tuning, and leveraging platform-specific features. Experience with version control systems and CI/CD processes applied to data pipelines. Familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation tools. Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and industry best practices. Experience with other Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks) is considered an asset.
