Job details

Architectural Technologist Relocate to British Columbia's Okanagan Region Commercial, Multifamily, Institutional & Community Projects Architecture That Matters. An Okanagan Lifestyle to Match. Salary: $75,000 to $95,000+ depending on experience About The Firm This established architectural practice is based in British Columbia's Okanagan region and has built a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful, community focused architecture across commercial, multifamily, civic, educational, institutional, and mixed use sectors. The firm is known for its collaborative approach, strong technical expertise, and commitment to creating projects that have a meaningful impact on the communities they serve. With a diverse portfolio and a strong pipeline of work, the studio offers Architectural Technologists the opportunity to gain exposure across multiple project types and phases while working alongside experienced architects and technical professionals. For someone looking to continue developing technically, take on greater project responsibility, and build a long term career within a respected architectural practice, there is plenty of room to grow. Why Consider the Okanagan from Alberta? If you're currently living in Alberta, relocating to the Okanagan offers the chance to experience a different side of Western Canadian living without making a move across the country. The region combines a growing architectural and construction market with an outdoor lifestyle that is hard to beat. You'll still have the mountains, skiing, hiking, golf, and wide open spaces you may already love about Alberta, but add beautiful lakes, wineries, beaches, a longer warm weather season, and some of Canada's most sought after communities. The Okanagan continues to see growth across multifamily housing, commercial development, education, civic, institutional, and community infrastructure, creating opportunities for experienced Architectural Technologists who want interesting project work without needing to build their career in a major metropolitan centre. Outside of work, weekends can mean skiing at SilverStar or Big White, spending the day on Okanagan Lake, hiking or mountain biking, golfing, exploring wineries, or simply enjoying everything the Interior of BC has to offer. For someone who enjoys Western Canada but is ready for a change of scenery, a new professional challenge, and a lifestyle centred around the outdoors, the Okanagan can offer a pretty compelling next chapter. About The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with at least five years of experience working within an architectural practice. You will play an integral role in producing and coordinating Design Development and Construction Documents while working closely with Project Architects, consultants, and the broader project team.
