Must have own transportation. Our client would like to bring on an organized, reliable and knowledgeable Project Coordinator who is eager to grow with the company. This person will have strong communication skills and general heavy civil construction knowledge. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE A minimum of 2 years of experience, working with a contractor and specifically within utility installation and earthworks would be a strong asset. Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors and other stakeholders Prepare, update, and distribute progress reports, project updates, and dashboards to stakeholders Develop and monitor construction schedules, tracking milestones to ensure deadlines are met Maintain logs, process change orders, manage contracts, and ensure permits and safety certifications are in place. Liaison between engineers, architects, and subcontractors; coordinate, plan, and direct daily operations on-site. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? What you’ll do

Prepare and distribute project updates, progress reports, and dashboards, while developing and monitoring construction schedules and milestones. Maintain project logs, process change orders, manage contracts and permits, and coordinate engineers, architects, subcontractors, and daily site operations.

Requirements

At least two years of contractor experience is sought, with utility installation and earthworks experience considered a strong asset. A civil or mechanical engineering degree is preferred, along with strong communication skills and general heavy civil construction knowledge.
