Real Estate Development Concord, Ontario Full-time, in-office Own Vehicle Required $60,000 - $70,000 Junior Commercial Property Manager the Opportunity Our client, an established Real Estate Developer out of Concord, Ontario seeks as Junior Commercial Property Manager to support their growing portfolio. The Commercial / Industrial portfolio consists of 900,000 sqft across17 properties. Junior Commercial Property Manager Duties Key Responsibilities Assist the VP of Operations with the day-to-day management of the portfolio. Liaise with tenants on a day-to-day basis regarding property management issues. Review and approve invoices in accordance with standard policies and procedures. Ensure the timely collection of rent and initiate follow-up where payments are not received. Complete regular site inspections of properties, including vacant units and building common areas, to identify opportunities and deficiencies. Report any concerns promptly and work with site supervisors to address them. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all properties. Review leases to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure service contract performance for all landscaping, snow removal, and salting contractors. Ensure properties remain in compliance with applicable municipal legislation and requirements. Relationship Development Develop and foster positive relationships with site staff, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders. Ensure proactive and timely resolution of any performance issues. Customer Service Professionally and courteously handle all tenant inquiries, feedback, complaints, and concerns. Ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction is maintained. Sales and Marketing Assist with the development and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives. Assist with asset management analysis and reporting as required. Complete other reporting as required in accordance with property management standards. Junior Commercial Property Manager Qualifications & Experience Previous property management experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multitask. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Detail-oriented, with the ability to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning, and common sense. Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner. Must be willing to travel from Stoney Creek to Barrie. Must hold a valid Ontario driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle. Required Experience 2–4 years of property management experience.
