Job summary
This is short, well-paid work for someone who thrives when things are busy and wants to be trusted with the good stuff. You'll spend two shifts right in the middle of the action, running the merchandise stand for a live event weekend — every transaction, every restock, every conversation with an attendee comes down to you. Most event gigs hand you a task list and forget about you. This one puts you front and center, working directly with high-value merchandise, which means you're trusted from minute one. Why This Opportunity Is Different It's a tight, well-defined commitment: two shifts, clear expectations, no long-term strings attached, and a pay rate that reflects the responsibility. If you're someone who wants meaningful short-term work without giving up your calendar for months, this is built for exactly that. What You'll Be Doing Run point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently throughout each shift Keep the merchandise stand fully stocked, organized, and presentation-ready Track and maintain accurate inventory counts across both shifts Deliver friendly, efficient service to event attendees in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For Event, retail, or customer-facing sales experience Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems and handling both cash and card transactions Reliable and trustworthy — you'll be in close contact with high-value merchandise Personable, energetic, and genuinely customer-focused Comfortable standing for extended periods during a busy event shift Compensation & Work Model $35.00 per hour. Approximately 15 hours total across two shifts. Onsite, temporary, event-based. Paid via direct bank transfer following completion of onboarding. Location & Travel Calabogie, Ontario (Ottawa Valley — approximately 1 hour west of Ottawa).
