Job summary
Location: Tulip Festival / Pick Farm (Outdoor) Season: Late April – May (Weekdays & Weekends) Pay: $20/hour Schedule: Shifts between 8:00am–9:00pm (4–8 hour shifts) About The Role Group Experience Attendants are responsible for assisting with welcoming, guiding, and supporting VIP guests, bus tours, group bookings, and field trips. This role ensures that groups arrive smoothly, understand the experience, and feel well taken care of, while also protecting the flow of the event and field rules. This is a high-touch, guest-facing role that requires confidence, organization, and the ability to manage groups calmly and clearly. During field trips, this role will be responsible for leading groups of students in activities. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide a warm welcome Manage entry flow to prevent bottlenecks Provide welcome kits, instructions, or apply wristbands or stamps as required (varies by group) Direct guests to entrances, VIP areas, and information points Identify and escalate ticket issues to a manager Answer basic guest questions (bathrooms, exits, VIP, timing) Maintain cleanliness and organization at the entrance Understand and execute the nuances of each event Requirements Must be 16+ (18+ preferred) Comfortable communicating with all ages Must be able to lead group activities during field trips Calm under pressure during peak times Comfortable standing for long periods Reliable transportation to and from the site Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions Must be available weekends Nice to Have Experience with groups and children Customer service or event experience
