Job Description :- Job Requirements :- • Minimum Senior years of relevant experience in solution architecture, application architecture, performance engineering, or enterprise technology delivery. • Strong Energy and Oil & Gas domain experience, with knowledge of Geology, Geophysics and Reservoir Engineering application environments and user workflows. • Demonstrated experience assessing end-to-end application landscapes across applications, compute, VDI/HPC, workstations, storage, network, security, monitoring, backup, recovery, and support processes. • Experience with application performance diagnostics, evidence-based root-cause analysis, technical remediation, stabilization, and future-state design. • Ability to design secure, scalable, resilient, supportable target-state architectures and implementation roadmaps. • Experience facilitating architecture workshops and producing current-state, target-state, integration, deployment, data-flow, security, and operational architecture artifacts. • Familiarity with GGRE applications such as Petrel, Seis Ware, Hampson Russell/Geo View, Geo Graphix, and Geo Scout is preferred. • Experience working with application vendors, infrastructure and operations teams, business representatives, security teams, and architecture governance authorities. • TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification is preferred; AWS or Microsoft Azure architecture certification is an asset. Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end IAE architecture workstream for the GGRE Application Performance Improvement and Future-Readiness Program. • Consolidate existing incident history, problem records, prior investigations, architecture materials, vendor recommendations, performance evidence, and completed changes. • Assess the current-state environment across applications, workflows, data flows, compute, VDI/HPC, workstations, network, storage, security, backup and recovery, monitoring, and support processes. • Establish measurable performance baselines and identify application, infrastructure, data-flow, configuration, and operational root causes. • Define and document the approved target-state architecture, technical design, operating model, remediation roadmap, implementation waves, testing approach, rollback approach, monitoring requirements, and operational ownership. • Create architecture and technical design artifacts and support their review, revision, and approval through applicable governance processes. • Translate business, operational, and technical requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, high-performing, and supportable solutions. • Provide architecture direction during implementation of approved application, configuration, data, storage, compute, VDI/HPC, workstation, network, security, monitoring, and operational changes. • Coordinate with application vendors and technical teams on tuning, configuration changes, product guidance, and validation activities. • Define and oversee representative functional, performance, resiliency, recovery, and user-workflow testing against approved acceptance measures. • Identify architecture drift, unsupported configurations, technical debt, constraints, dependencies, and delivery risks, and communicate practical recommendations to decision-makers. • Support production stabilization, operational documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition to support teams. • Contribute reusable architecture patterns, standards, decisions, and roadmaps while managing multiple stakeholders and concurrent priorities. Requirements
Requires senior-level experience in solution or application architecture, performance engineering, or enterprise technology delivery, along with strong energy and oil and gas domain knowledge. Candidates should have experience assessing complex application and infrastructure environments, diagnosing performance issues, designing secure and resilient architectures, and coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams; TOGAF certification is preferred, and AWS or Azure architecture certification is an asset.
