Community Event Coordinator Taylor+ is seeking a highly organized, service-driven Community Event Coordinator to support the operational planning, coordination, and execution of events across the UJA community campuses. This role serves as the central liaison between clients, internal operations teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring event logistics are thoughtfully planned, professionally managed, and seamlessly executed. The ideal candidate brings strong event logistics experience, operational discipline, exceptional client service skills, and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement. Beyond day-to-day event execution, this individual will play an important role in enhancing the overall event booking experience, strengthening service standards, and supporting the development of a scalable event services program across the portfolio. • Serve as the primary coordinator for event logistics across UJA community campuses • Meet with clients to understand event objectives, operational requirements, and service needs • Conduct site walkthroughs, as required, with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders • Coordinate all logistical elements required for successful event execution, including: o Room setup / teardown o Furniture, tables, chairs, staging o Audio visual coordination o Cleaning / porter support o Security staffing o Parking / traffic management o Vendor access / loading logistics o Wayfinding / signage requirements o Special operational accommodation • Obtain quotations for required services, including room rental fees, and prepare client estimates for review and approval • Track event-related costs, chargebacks, and recoverable expenses in partnership with Accounts Receivable • Ensure all event requirements are clearly communicated to internal teams, vendors and stakeholders • Oversee on-site event execution, as required, to ensure smooth delivery and service excellence • Act as the primary point of escalation for event-related operational issues • Identify opportunities to improve event booking processes, coordination workflows, and overall client experience • Oversight and coordination of porter services related to day-to-day event programming • Provide administrative support related to event operations and broader property management initiatives • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. • Regular travel between multiple campus locations is required. Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between sites as needed. • Evenings, afternoons, and weekends as required. Looking to apply?
