Job Description: Private Wealth Management (PWM) delivers integrated advice and tailored solutions to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. In partnership with the Market Manager, the Assistant Wealth Market Manager supports daily business operations across Wealth Advisory Services, Private Trust, and Wealth Insurance Services. The role promotes a consistent Private Wealth client experience, business and referral growth, specialized talent development, strong partner collaboration, disciplined sales execution, accountability, and effective governance. Job Responsibilities Act as a key leadership partner to the Market Manager, supporting day-to-day business execution, sales discipline, talent development, referral growth, and achievement of market and regional objectives. Coach, develop, and support a collaborative team of specialized Wealth professionals while reinforcing clear performance expectations, accountability, professional development, succession planning, and an inclusive team culture. Support business development activities and sales execution to drive revenue growth, client retention, referrals, and regional business results. Ensure a consistent, integrated Private Wealth client experience across onboarding, comprehensive discovery, wealth planning, timely partner introductions, and ongoing relationship management. Monitor business and team performance, identify opportunities, and adjust plans to strengthen results, service quality, and execution. Build strong partnerships across Retail, Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Wealth Advisory Services, Private Trust, Wealth Insurance Services, and other Wealth businesses to deepen client relationships and generate opportunities. Support market and regional initiatives and act as a liaison between field teams and leadership to promote alignment, share insights, and advance priorities. Maintain strong risk, compliance, governance, and business-control practices, ensuring adherence to regulatory and business requirements. Represent PWM and the bank as a trusted internal and external brand ambassador. Job Requirements 10 or more years of sales or wealth management leadership experience, including oversight of diverse professional specialties. Strong understanding of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients and complex wealth-planning needs. Proven success in people leadership, business development, relationship management, and achieving measurable growth. Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business lines. Knowledge of Canadian wealth management regulations, risk practices, and industry standards. Relevant post-secondary education and professional credentials are preferred. Experience in legal, trust, tax, or insurance services is an asset.
