Job Description: Private Wealth Management provides high-net worth and ultra-high-net client segments with holistic discovery and planning towards customized advice and solutions. Based on the commitment to discovering and achieving what truly matters to each client, they bring a distinct discovery process and an integrated, team-based approach to build a wealth strategy that reflects each client's unique needs. Team members collaborate closely with each other to fully franchise the client while delivering the full spectrum of TD Wealth Services, Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, Private Banking, Private Trust, Wealth Advisory and Insurance Services. This role is responsible for leading a team of Investment Management professionals, charged with asset accumulation, preservation and revenue growth, while delivering a differentiated HNW planning experience. Accountabilities Lead a highly qualified and collaborative team of Investment Management professionals Work closely with key business leaders to develop business plan, ensuring the optimal use of resources and leverage TD’s operating model to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and scale Plan and execute business development activities, review and communicate results, and adjust tactics accordingly Develop annual and/or long term plans for own area and influences plans well beyond area managed Engage advisors and support staff in ongoing endeavor to provide a legendary Client Experience Proactively identify key business opportunities, research and recommend enhancements / modifications, develop strategies to achieve recommendations and work closely with team to execute and implement Plan and document marketing and business development activities, review and communicate results and adjust plan accordingly Lead the process of setting performance objectives for the team; track, monitor and effectively address and/or reward performance in a timely manner Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite Recruit for all hires to ensure a highly diverse, qualified workforce to achieve business objectives Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally Generally reports to Region Head executive Requirements 10+ years of Sales Leadership & relevant industry experience Deep understanding of the HNW and UHNW client sector Undergraduate university degree Registered with CIRO as a Registered Representative and Supervisor, including but not limited to Option & Derivatives Supervisor, Portfolio Manager Who We Are: TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
