Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist Location: Ontario, Canada Work Model: Onsite We are seeking a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist with strong experience in healthcare IT and public-sector environments to support complex applications, integrations, APIs, and enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities Lead QA and system testing activities, including test strategy, test plans, test cases, test data, execution, and reporting. Perform functional, regression, integration, API, security, and non-functional testing. Test HL7/FHIR-based REST APIs using Postman, SOAP UI, Swagger, or similar tools. Perform SQL/data validation and automated testing using Selenium or similar frameworks. Conduct WCAG 2.0/AODA accessibility testing. Manage defects using Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar tools. Participate in defect triage, walkthroughs, release validation, and production deployment testing. Provide guidance to junior QA team members and work with Agile/DevOps teams. Must-Have Skills 7+ years of QA/System Testing experience 5+ years of public-sector healthcare IT experience Hands-on experience with FHIR/HL7, REST APIs, Postman/SOAP UI/Swagger SQL and database testing Selenium/automation testing WCAG 2.0/AODA accessibility testing SAML/JWT security testing Strong defect management and SDLC experience Experience with Jira/Confluence/TestRail Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills Apply with your updated resume highlighting relevant healthcare, public-sector, API, automation, and accessibility testing experience.
