Job Title: Product Designer - SaaS Location: Hybrid in the Greater Toronto Area, Greater Ottawa Area, and Montreal Job Type: T4 Contract Experience: 4+ Years Rate: CAD 50 to 60 per hour Role Summary TechedIn Labs is hiring a User Experience Product Designer to support product design for web-based software products within a cloud platform. The role focuses on user experience and interface design for data visualization capabilities, including dashboards, reports, landing experiences, and predictive analytics. The selected candidate will collaborate with product management, engineering, and design teams to translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications. Key Responsibilities Design user experiences and interfaces for web-based software products. Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications. Translate defined product requirements into user-centered design solutions. Design experiences for data visualization, dashboards, reports, landing experiences, and predictive analytics. Collaborate with product management, engineering, and senior design partners throughout the design process. Work within established design systems, component libraries, and product patterns. Support usability reviews and design quality assurance activities. Prepare designs and specifications for developer handoff. Apply UX and interaction design practices to enterprise SaaS products. Identify opportunities to improve existing product experiences and design practices. Work with general direction while applying independent judgment to defined product design work. Must-Have Skills 4 to 5 years of relevant Product Design or UX Design experience. Strong experience designing user experiences for software products. Strong Figma proficiency. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain the reasoning behind UX decisions. Strong portfolio demonstrating product design capabilities and design sensibilities. Experience creating user flows, sketches, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Experience developing case studies that demonstrate the design process, user needs, and design decisions. Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and established product patterns. Experience collaborating with product management, engineering, and design teams. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience designing enterprise SaaS products. Experience with data visualization products or dashboards. Experience working with predictive analytics experiences. Experience supporting usability reviews and design QA. Experience with developer handoff and detailed design specifications. Familiarity with AEC software or cloud-based platforms. Knowledge of UX and interaction design practices for web applications. Education No specific educational qualification required.
