Role :Mainframe Production Operations Engineer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Salary : CAD 70/Hr- CAD 75/Hr Must have : Migration from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS is mandatory, REXX program Qualification: CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS REXX Required Professional & Technical Expertise 5+ years of experience in a Mainframe Operations environment in an operational, service, consulting, or support role Strong written and verbal communication skills Hands-on experience with TSO and ISPF Strong JCL skills Ability to write REXX Working knowledge of System Automation Policy Database (PDB) Experience with z/OS Automation Migration Projects Migration from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS – MUST HAVE Required Product Experience NetView for z/OS IBM System Automation for z/OS Preferred Expertise Knowledge of other IBM Z software and technologies z/OS system operation, configuration, startup and shutdown SMP/E Knowledge of competing Mainframe automation products Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z

Requirements

Requires at least five years of experience in a mainframe operations role, hands-on TSO and ISPF experience, strong JCL skills, and the ability to write REXX. Experience migrating from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS is mandatory, along with working knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database.
