Please Go through the Following Job Description and share your resume Role: Senior .NET Developer Location: VANCOUVER, BC Job Type: Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with 10+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, SQL Server, and modern web technologies. This role requires hands-on involvement throughout the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and support. Key Responsibilities Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise applications and services. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, stakeholders, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design and develop robust application architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, security, caching, encryption, state management, logging, and error handling. Decompose complex business problems into efficient technical solutions and implement high-quality code. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using ASP.NET Core and Web API. Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design principles. Create technical documentation, design specifications, and support materials. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure application quality and reliability. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance using .NET diagnostic and profiling tools. Identify technical risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies. Participate in effort estimation, sprint planning, and project delivery activities. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth. Recommend system enhancements and process improvements while balancing business and technical requirements. Technical Skills: Strong experience with: - C# 4.0+ - -ASP.NET 4.5 - ASP.NET Core - RESTful Web API Development Front-end development experience using: - HTML - CSS - JavaScript - jQuery - JSON Strong SQL Server expertise including: - -T-SQL - SSRS - Database Administration Experience with: - LINQ - Entity Framework Strong understanding of: - Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) - Design Patterns - SOLID Principles - Secure Coding Practices Experience developing secure and scalable web applications. Knowledge of performance optimization, caching strategies, and application monitoring. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Experience creating technical design documentation. Experience using .NET profiling and diagnostic tools. Experience writing and maintaining unit tests. Professional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and within Agile development teams. Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members. Preferred Qualifications Agile/Scrum development experience. Experience with VB.NET.
