Project Manager with AML experience Toronto, ON Full Time "Key Responsibilities • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for AML compliance programs and system implementations • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Technology, and Business teams to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements and industry standards (FATF, FinCEN, OSFI guidelines) • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to compliance and regulatory exposure • Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, manage budgets, and provide regular status updates to senior leadership • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements to strengthen AML controls and operational efficiency • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and audit trails for regulatory examination Required Qualifications • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in AML, compliance, or regulatory environments • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification • Strong understanding of AML regulations, KYC (Know Your Customer), and financial crime prevention • Experience managing technology implementations and system integrations • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.) Preferred Qualifications • CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification • Banking or financial services industry experience • Familiarity with AML software platforms and compliance systems • Experience with Agile or hybrid project method Tekshapers is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.” *Disclaimer: This E-Mail may contain Confidential and/or legally privileged Information and is meant for the intended recipient(s) only.
