Role Description The Retail Salesperson role at Temple of 6 Yards Inc. is a part-time, on-site position located in Markham, ON. The Retail Salesperson will greet customers, answer product questions, and guide them through the selection process to support informed purchasing decisions. This role includes handling sales transactions, processing payments, and issuing receipts accurately and efficiently. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining store cleanliness, organizing merchandise displays, restocking inventory, and ensuring products are presented neatly. The Retail Salesperson will respond to customer inquiries, resolve basic issues, and collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and deliver a positive in-store experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills to engage customers and support store revenue goals. Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to provide respectful, clear, and helpful interactions. Candidates should possess Product Knowledge skills to explain features, benefits, and styling options confidently. Candidates should demonstrate basic math and cash-handling skills, with attention to detail for transactions and inventory. Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends), and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Previous retail or fashion industry experience is beneficial, and familiarity with textile or garment products is an asset.
